時制でEも×。
AvsBはfirstの位置ですが、Aの方がしっくりきます。
Bのように文頭に来ると文全体を修飾してしまい、「第二に」という文が続くことが期待されてしまうのに対し、Aではfirstはmadeにかかり、「とにかくまず」というニュアンスになるのではないでしょうか？

Eはif not more soが文全体にかかる（＋soが余分？）で×（ちょっと自信なし）
