次の問題(SC)が分かりません。
教えていただければ幸いです。
ちなみに、<<>>内が所謂、下線部です。
なお、これらの問題は、どっかのディスクロージャ問題だと思います。
(1) Of the 19 American in the expedition that climbed Mt.Everest in 1963, <<more than half of them had a graduate degree>> of some sort.
答え...over half had a graduate degree
− なぜ、下線部ではダメなのでしょうか? すいませんが、私には全くわかりません。
(2) Once the site of pilgrimages to the Aztec god of the caves, <<each Sunday now attracts hundreds of Christians wearing flower wreaths to Chalma>>.
(B) Chalma now attracts hundreds of Christians wearing flower wreaths each Sunday.
(C) Chalma now attracts each Sunday undreds of Christians wearing flower wreaths.
答え...(C)
− 上記2肢の違いは、each Sundayの場所だけなんですが、なぜ(C)なんでしょうか?
(3) Over the objections of the Bush Administration, the House of Representatives approved a bill to establish an American Conservation Corps <<to provide jobs for young people preserving>> the nation's natural resources.
(B) that would provide jobs for young people to preserve
(C) that would provide jobs for young people and preserve
