またOGでわからない点があります。
どなたか教えてください。

パラレル違反でABDは×
CEで悩んでfaceの前にtoがないのがおかしいと思ってCにしました。
正解はEです。
OGの解説によるとelect facingとは言わないとのことで、Cが間違いである理由は納得しました。
問題はEでこれは have elected to retire...have elected to face...のパラレルだと解釈しましたが、GMATではこういう場合、toは省略できるのでしょうか？
また、googleで検索したところtest magicという掲示板で、あるネイティブがこのパラレルは have electedとfaceであって、retireとfaceではないと書き込みがしてあるのでさらに混乱しています。彼の言うことが正しいとすると、現在完了と現在形のパラレルもアリなのでしょうか？？
初歩的な質問で恐縮ですがよろしくお願いします。
