いつもお世話になってます
Chinese, the most ancient of living writing systems, consists of tens of thousands of ideographic characters, <each character a miniture calligraphic composition inside its> own square frame.
この問題で答えはこのままでよいことになっています。OGの解答を見てみると、characterとcompositionが同格になっており、数の一致もしているからベスト、とのことなのですが、ということであれば構造として ideographic characters = each character = calligraphic composition という三連続の同格ということになるのでしょうか？ここの構造がまったくわかりません。
まったく根本的なことが理解できていない可能性があるかもしれないのですが、どなたかご指摘いただければ助かります。よろしくお願いします。
