いつもお世話になってます。今回はData Sufficiencyの問題でつまずきました。誰か分かる方教えて下さい。

A man is holding seven cards in his hand, four 8's and three 6's. How many cards does he lay on the table?

(1)The man lays a card on the table if the number on the card is divisible by 2.

(2)The man lays a card on the table if the number on the card is divisible by 3.

Ans. Statement(1) Alone is sufficient, but Statement (2) alone is not sufficient.

個人的には（１）においてはこの人の持ってるカードの値が全てが２の倍数なので結果７枚全てテーブルに置き、（２）においては３の倍数である３枚の６だけを置き、結果は３枚のカードがテーブルに置かれているような気がするので、
答えは　Each statement Alone is sufficient である気がするのですが、何か間違ってますか？
