たびたび質問ばかりですみません。
次から次へと分からない問題ばかりでてきて困ってます。
問題文の意味がうまくとれていないことが主要因だと思うのですが。
下記２問教えていただければ幸いです。
１．Rita and Sam play the following game with n sticks on a table. Each must remove 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 sticks at a time on alternate turns, and no stick that is removed is put back on the table. The one who removes the last stick (or sticks) from the table wins. If Rita goes first, which of the following is a value of n such that Sam can always win no matter how Rita plays?
(A) 7
(B) 10
(C) 11
(D) 12
(E) 16
正解は（D）です。
これも答えから逆算すると、下記のように考えていけば、一回にremoveできるのが最大5 stick なので、Ritaの順番になったときに残りが6であれば、Samが必ず勝てるということが分かりましたが最初に問題を見たときはどのように解いたらよいのか分かりませんでした。
本文を解くときには、数学的にどのように考えていったらよいのでしょうか？
n = 12 のとき
Rita removes 5 → (remain 7) → Sam removes 1 → (remain 6)
Rita removes 4 → (remain 8) → Sam removes 2 → (remain 6)
Rita removes 3 → (remain 9) → Sam removes 3 → (remain 6)
Rita removes 2 → (remain 10) → Sam removes 4 → (remain 6)
Rita removes 1 → (remain 11) → Sam removes 5 → (remain 6)
２．If Car A took n hours to travel 2 miles and Car B took m hours to travel 3 miles, which of the following expresses the time it would take Car C, traveling at the average (arithmetic mean) of those rates, to travel 5 miles?
(A) 10nm/(3n+2m)
(B) (3n+2m)/10(n+m)
(C) (2n+3m)/5nm
(D) 10(n+m)/(2n+3m)
(E) 5(n+m)/(2n+3m)
正解は（A）です。
平均の速さは、（Car A とCar Bの総距離）÷（Car A と Car B の総時間）なので、
(2+3) / (n+m) = 5/(n+m)・・・
Car Cが，梁さで5mile走った場合の時間は、
5 ÷ 5 / (n+m) = n+m
という答えになってしまったのですが、考え方のどこに誤りがあるのでしょうか？
