Preparation KitのPractice Test Aの3番はなぜ(D)a hammer and a nailが正解なのでしょうか？私は(A)a lock and a keyと思ってしまうのですが。
そう思わせる私の訳が間違っているのでしょう。どなたか私の訳の間違いをご指摘いただけないでしょうか？

上記の私の訳出からは、ほぞをほぞ穴に通すことでその接合部が抜けないようにする（A）「鍵と錠」の関係 にあると思うのですが、何が間違っているのでしょうか？
私は建築が専門なので単純に英語を読めないところがいけないのかもしれません。パッセ−ジを全く読まなくても、建築的観点からは（A）が正解と選んでしまいます。
