まだ、TOEFL-Sセクションのコツをつかんでいらっしゃらないことと、英文を読むのは苦手そうなので、日本のTOEFL対策本での勉強をお勧めします。友人にチョコチョコ問題を出してもらっても点数は上がらないでしょう。一気に1000問くらい解き、パターンを覚え、過去問をすべてつぶせばSは安定して高得点が出るでしょう。

intoの次が、someなのかoneなのかわかりませんが、
TOEFL頻出は ”one of 最上級+複数形” で
「最も〜のひとつ」の意味
【簡訳】
金の発見がサンフランシスコを世界で最も豊かな町の一つに変えた。

> A. of an not
> B. not if an are

これはTOEFLでは出なそうな型ですが…
"if not a"は挿入句で
「1つでは無く」 程度の意味
【簡訳】
塩は大量生産される。少なくとも他のほとんどの商用化学物質よりも。

publishの名詞形はpublicationです。
